We’ve invested heavily in our business over recent years to become a major Independent Sales Organisation in Merchant Payments and we’re now looking to continue our growth trajectory evolving our business to the next level. That’s why we have created a new, strategic, senior management role and the right candidate will play a major part in our future success.
You will lead the lifecycle management of customers from new business, upgrade and re-signing with overall operational responsibility for our B2B Telephony Sales and Account Management Teams, covering product areas encompassing merchant card payment processing, payment terminal upgrades and business cash advances.
A key part of the Leadership Team, you will manage and motivate 3 Team Managers and an FTE of circa 50 + people. Primarily you’re accountable for driving the commercial strategy to deliver our overall sales and service objectives and business critical targets.
With a demonstrable track record in forecasting, analysing and delivering performance against budgeted daily, weekly and monthly figures, you will bring fresh thinking, drive continuous improvement and implement positive change.
You will take ownership of lead conversion, call quality and the usual key metrics as well as resource planning, working with our Recruitment, Training and HR functions to ensure we are at optimum headcount, performance and employee retention.
You will need to have previously delivered proven results through building high performance teams in a B2B telephony sales environment ideally but not essentially in a regulated financial service environment. Analytical, numerate and a confident communicator, you will be a credible, high energy manager who leads by example, inspiring others to be the best they can be.
You will understand how to manage and implement best practice systems and operational process and an understanding of GDPR in a telephone sales environment is critical. Experience of developing and implementing digital sales channels would also be useful.
